In the next days, I am going to enable the possibility of buying the uncompressed AIFF files of this recording as well as my Piccinini and Zamboni CDs.

This recording of Kapsberger’s toccata - which has been recorded in the last days - ist the first of a series of productions which will be only published in internet.
The reasons for this decision are many, among them: the convinction that internet is the best divulgation medium, the wish to offer the files for free and the will to keep all the rights about my productions.
This is not possible in the present cd-markt, so I decided, after a long stop, to produce and distribute the next recordings by myself.

The pieces of Galilei are part of the CD “Meraviglia d’Amore”, which has been published several years ago by the austrian radio and television broadcast ORF.
In the toccata I tried to realize what Frescobaldi wrote in one of his instructions. He says that you can play different sections of his toccatas separately and you can finish it “ovunque li sarà gusto” (anywhere you like).
Meaning that, the Galilei’s toccata consists, in my recording, of sections taken from two different ones as well as of little improvisations.
